We are selling our LX470 to purchase another pickup. We are the second owners and we have all of the service records since new (a 1" stack!). The vehicle was always maintained by Lexus and everything is up to date including the timing belt and water pump. The previous owner was a 70+ year old man and when we got it we joked about how it looked like he drove it with gloves on his hands and seat covers on the seats. The leather, woodgrain, dash, and the rest of the interior are in LIKE NEW condition. Even the steering wheel leather and woodgrain look perfect. The tires are relatively new and the pictures show the amount of tread left. There are a few stains on the mats but that is to be expected with a 14 year old vehicle. The vehicle runs perfectly and it rides like a Lexus should. This is a heavy SUV- it is not going to save you any money at the gas pump but the LX's have a more comfortable ride than anything in their class. THIS VEHICLE HAS NEVER BEEN SMOKED IN. Everything works with the exception of the mirrors angling down when you go into reverse. The mirrors stay stationary. This was a silly option anyway. There is an exhaust leak that we never fixed because it does not affect performance or reliability and it only makes the exhaust sound marginally louder. Marginally! There is a small chip (about 1/4 of the size of a penny) in the windshield. There are no dents on the exterior. The paint is in excellent condition for it's age but there are 2 spots the size of a dessert plate that look slightly dull (only slightly). There are a few light scratches but nothing out of the ordinary. I'm sure any spot in the paint could buff out but you really have to look for them so we never bothered. THE VEHICLE ONLY HAS 125,257 MILES ON IT BUT THAT WILL PROBABLY INCREASE BY 100 OR SO BY THE TIME THE LISTING ENDS. THE VEHICLE HAS NEVER BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT BUT FEEL FREE TO RUN A CARFAX. Feel free to arrange an inspection of the vehicle prior to the end of the auction. It is completely OK to have a mechanic look at the vehicle during a pre-sale inspection but I require this to be performed at a LEXUS DEALER at the buyers cost. I can arrange to meet the buyer at the Columbia SC or Charlotte NC airports where you can take delivery. Final payment must be cleared in my account prior to pickup. TITLE IN HAND. A 1000.00 Deposit is due at the time of auctions end (paypal GIFT method). Payment to be completed VIA certified funds within 5 days. If the paypal deposit is not made within 24hrs the vehicle will be re-listed. No exceptions. DO NOT BID IF YOU ARE NOT READY TO BUY. THE CARFAX ACTUALLY SAYS 3 OWNERS BECAUSE MY BROTHER PICKED UP THE VEHICLE FROM THE SELLER. BECAUSE HE WAS ON THE BILL OF SALE HE HAD TO REGISTER IT AND THEN TRANSFER IT TO ME THE SAME DAY. MY BROTHER CHANGED DENTISTRY PRACTICES AND NO LONGER WISHED TO MAKE PAYMENTS ON HIS NEW CHEVY Z71 LTZ. HE SOLD THE TRUCK AND WE GOT THIS LX470 FOR HIM. ITS TOUGH TO GO FROM A NEW LOADED TRUCK TO A 15 YEAR OLD SUV THAT GETS LESS MPG'S. HE LIKES THE LEXUS BUT IT JUST ISN'T FOR HIM SO I'M SELLING IT.
