When I bought this car in 1979, it had 82,889 miles. I spent 3 yrs to repair, cut & design it, including front swivel bucket seats & a complete paint job. It has 2- 12" speakers in the rear that came from a Gibson guitar amp made in 1948 & they still work. In 1986, with a mileage of 88,560, I semi overhauled the engine and all the gaskets, shaved the heads, reground valves, new seals, front & rear main bearing seals, new timing chain & gears. I also replaced both outer rear axle bearings & all 4 driveshaft universals. In 1987at the mileage of 90,084, I did a complete rebuild on the transmission. 2010, mileage 99,020 I installed a new radiator, also top & bottom hoses, new dimmer switch, & converted to electric fuel pump. Also new radio cd player & front speakers, new carpet. Brake shoes about 75% on all 4 wheels, tires all good. The top needs painted, the body paint is still fairly good after 32 yrs but has a rust spot just in front of the passenger door. The car has been run just about a 1,000 miles in the past 4 yrs & only 48 miles this past year. The front seal on the trans leaks some, likely from not being driven. It has always been garage kept since 1979 when I bought it. I found I have cancer in 2011 that’s why I'm selling the car.
