I am selling a true barn find. This 1971 Mercedes 280 Se 4.5 Is midnight blue over a navy blue interior. The car is from New mexico and has a rust free body . Only rust is in trunk fender liner simple fix. The paint is overall in great condition . It could use a buffing and it will show very well. To make the car perfect It would need to be painted. The car had damage to the left front fender . I have no idea of what happend but its just the fender and it can be repaired. No damage to frame or any other part. The chrome trim on the car is in excellent condition bumpers are nice as well. The interior is very clean and in great shape. The seats are nice and firm , headliner is great , and the dash is also in great condition with only 2 minor cracks. The wood needs to be redone to complete the interiors beauty. The car has power windows. The drivers side is off track and needs adjustment. Ac does come on but could use a charge. The engine starts up and runs very smooth and is clean and doesn't leak any oil.it drives very nice and shifts smooth as well. New belts and hoses in the engine. It has 4 new tires. brakes are good. suspension seems to be fine with no noises. Underneath the car is very solid as well. I am selling this car very cheap. Its the perfect car for someone to restore or just drive. It doesn't need much to make it a very nice car. Its solid , runs well and truly is a classic sedan with beautiful timeless looks. If your looking for a driver that you can slowly restore to perfection this is the car. I am selling it at No reserve. Someone will get an amazing car.
