Up for Auction today!!! 1972 Mercedes Benz 220 Diesel with 4 speed Manual transmission. This car is one that is perfect as a daily driver, dependable, fully functioning and running fantastic this 1972 Diesel is a prime example of a nice old diesel. LOW MILEAGE for a 40 year old classic odometer showing 81,277!!! I recently purchased this from a gentlemen who was obsessed with making sure that he could drive this vehicle as a dependable daily driver. I took many photos to show over all good shape of car. But please if questions arise contact me to send more photos. Seats a in unbelievable condition...they have had covers on them to protect their condition. Seats both front and rear fantastic shape Dash is clean and non has non missing items in the dash to the 90% fully functioning switches and features this is the perfect classic Benz that you can enjoy driving daily. I new that this wasn't just a project car but a obsession of the previous owner. This is a five day auction and I will be selling this car to the highest bidder with the agreement I will drive the car to the winning bidder up to 100 miles! Unfortunately do to my current situation I can not house this car for winter and I do not want it outside in the weather. Non rusted solid car...that needs a good home. Previous owner, owned the car for 3 years and explained that it has never seen the snow fly. I was skeptical until I saw quarter panels, wheel wells, and floor boards (usually suspect rust spots) and there was none on this car...not even a bubble in the paint by the tail lamps...incredible is all i have to say...I want someone to be able to love this car....so here it is for you now!! Car was bumped from behind and has had some work done near trunk release. Looks decent but just wanted those to take note. This car is a head turner. Right now it is kept in the same location that photos were taken, in a heated, climate controlled garage.
