1951 Ford F3 Rat Rod. This truck was built for the 2014 Rat Hard Build Off competition and will be featured in the next edition of Rat Rod Magazine and Ride Hard Magazine. The truck was driven from St. Louis to Chattanooga and then to Nashville for the Redneck Rumble. We were also featured in the Columbian newspaper. It has an 8BA flathead V8 with rebuilt carburetor, all new ignition parts and custom built headers. All fluids have been replaced from front to back. 3 speed manual with extended shifter and scull shift knob. Ford 9in rear end out of a 63 Ford F100 with new axle seals. The front axle is also out of the 63 F100 with a custom 1/4 elliptical suspension and custom made friction shocks. The tires are new except for the 400 miles we have put in them so far and are mounted to 15in mag wheels. It has working gauges heater and a working wiper and all the windows, so this is a great driving truck that you can drive all year. It rides nice and runs great. Brakes are all new, all four wheel cylinders, master cylinder hard lines and front hoses are all new along with the brake shoes. New aluminum radiator, electric fan, and electric fuel pump. Fuel tank from 1968 Chevy Suburban, custom wood tonneau cover and brand new rear mounted battery. It has a brand new wiring harness from Speedway Motors, New Chevy 1 wire alternator, and the alternator mount and carb scoop are also from Speedway. The Frame has been Z'ed 10 inches in the rear and 6 inches in the front. The cab has 4 inches chopped off of the bottom and has been channeled 6 inches over the frame. It has a custom front grill made from the original front end and has the rear part of the hood welded and rolled over the cowl, this is a nice touch that makes the truck look a lot cleaner without a hood. Most of the floor has been replaced and the bottom of the doors and cab corners have been plated. The truck is a blast to drive and gets tons of attention. It is comfortable to sit in and rides really nice. I'm sure I am forgetting some stuff. You won't regret buying this one of a kind truck. Clear Oregon title and SP plates.
