Vehicle Detail
I'm selling my Maserati because I have a bad hip and, given that it's a small car and low to the ground, it has become difficult for me to drive. I bought the car on Ebay Motors in 2012 (for $28K) and used it as my primary vehicle until last summer when I bought my Range Rover. The previous seller, who is a dealer in Las Vegas, informed me that the vehicle was involved in what he described as a very minor fender bender which was properly repaired. I'm happy to provide all correspondence with the previous seller. I have had the car serviced regularly at Ferrari/Maserati of Fort Lauderdale and will provide all service records and diagnostics. I replaced the clutch on the car in late 2012 and I believe the new clutch has about 5,000 miles on it. Last June, I drove the car in a torrential storm where there was standing water on the streets. Unfortunately, water got into the intakes and seized the engine, requiring me to replace it (with a little help from Allstate) at a cost of $25K. I had always thought that the odometer was reset when an engine was replaced but I learned that that is not the case - so the miles listed are the total miles on the vehicle. However, the new engine has less than 500 miles on it. The body and interior are in good shape for an 11-year old car. There's only one noticeable ding which is on the front grill. The black coating on the power window buttons on the center console is coming off - a common problem with Maseratis - but there are services that will recoat the buttons for a reasonable price. The stereo system works and sounds great, however, the Nav System isn't working. That being said, the car is a blast to drive and I get compliments on it every time I drive it with the top down. I will be happy to answer any and all questions and provide complete and detailed information to interested buyers. Thank you for your consideration.
