Vehicle Detail

Here is a GORGEOUS Acapulco Blue 1969 Mach 1 Mustang. It is in fantastic shape, nice enough to take to a show, not so over restored that you are afraid to drive it. Does it ever turn heads, plan on talking about your car to lots of people if you buy it! This car runs and drives perfectly, it does not burn oil, its starts right up and runs smoothly. It has a rebuilt steering box and the suspension is all quite new. It has Ford Magnum 500, louvers and both spoilers. Headliner and dash are perfect. Hurst shifter. Rare tinted glass, A/C car....yes the A/C blows cold and was just certified! This car went to Texas from the factory and then spent the rest of its life in Arizona. I bought it 8 months ago and imported it to Washington State. With the weather here and my schedule I don't have the time to enjoy it much as I'd like to so I am considering selling the car. Some modifications have been made by the previous owner. These include things like electronic ignition, a modern carb and headers. As I have the date correct exhaust manifolds, carb and ignition wires undoing these things are easy and a matter of choice. At some point in time the automatic, (FMX), transmission was replaced with a wide ratio 4 speed. Whoever did it, did an amazing job. This car did not come from the factory with a shaker hood. It does have a genuine 351W shaker assembly now so either the dealer did it way back when or someone went to a lot of trouble to find the right parts and install them properly. Even the shaker trim bracket is a correct Ford one. Interestingly enough, this car come from the factory with some big block stuff, namely staggered rear shocks and fender well reinforcements. This was common I understand in late run cars, which as a July 1969 car, this one is. This car is an older restoration, I would say about 10 years old and it still looks pretty good. Looks like all of the sheet metal and floors are original. Have a good look at it, ask any questions you'd like. I'll check my account regularly. The car IS NOT for sale locally. If it doesn't sell here and now its heading for a heated storage facility. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. On Oct-12-14 at 16:37:35 PDT, seller added the following information: OCTOBER 12, 2014; I have just posted a video of the car running that I took 30 minutes ago. The video is on you tube and, unfortunately, ebay will not let me post a link to it here. If you go to you tube, search for 1969 Mach 1, Oct 12, 2014 and you will see it. I apologize in advance for the video as it is a little dark in places and the car is quite dirty. It will give you a sense of what the car looks like and sounds like as of 30 minutes ago.
