Dream Car Autohaus is offering for sale this solid 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle. We recently purchased this car from the owner who has spent endless hours and money to restore the vehicle but ran out of both. We have over $12,000 in receipts. The odometer states this vehicle has 123,763 miles, but the engine has only 1000 miles.
This is a very solid Chevelle that will need paint and interior to complete and make it a beautiful driver. Orginally fitted with a 307 V8 it now has a new GM Goodwrench 350 V8 with new exhaust and rebuilt transmission.
All of the prep work has been completed. The following parts have been replaced which include the front fenders and inner fender wells, right rear left and right lower quarter panels, battery tray, front floor pan left side, trunk pan, fan shroud, hood hinges, shocks, alternator, holley performance carb, chrome air cleaner, long tube exhaust, custom headers, brakes, hoses, master cylinder, new American racing wheels and tires plus receipts for body work and installation work.
This car runs and drives great! The engine has plenty of power, the transmission shifts great and all the gauges work! This car was built at the Baltimore plant, it is a sport coupe and was originally Gulf Green Poly, which appears to be the primary color of the car presently.
