1971 FIAT 500L VIN: 110F2934764 Available in this 5 day - NO RESERVE auction is my 1971 Fiat 500 L. I imported this car from Holland in 1999 and used it for 10 years. In 2009 the engine started to smoke, indicating time for a rebuild was in order. It was my plan at that time to rebuild the engine and completely restore the car. Many new parts were collected. Over the years several projects on other Italian cars have come up causing me to keep putting off the work on this great little car. Now with an imminent move, I've got to let this project go. These cars are VERY simple to work on and this project would be great for father and son or someone looking to learn about classic car restoration without too much work the first time out. Parts for Fiat 500s are easy to come by (via ebay and other sites) and very cheap. Restoration books and service manuals are also available. As for the condition of the car - please see the photos. It has been stored inside but still has some rust that needs to be address. The upgraded 595cc engine is not running at this time but will turn over. Please study the photos carefully and if you have any questions I'll try to reply to them ASAP. I've collected many new parts over the years - all are shown in the photos. They are all included with this no reserve auction. This auction has no reserve and is only for 5 days as I no more time at my current location and just don't have the room at my new location.
