1961 Comet S-22 Inline 6 cylinder! I am offering for sale my son’s rare red 61 Comet S-22. Only 1960 and 1961 were not branded as Mercury due to the demise of Edsel. This car is a true survivor with: · Factory 170cu.in. Inline 6 cylinder (101HP) · Factory 2-speed automatic transmission · Factory AM radio · Factory Red Bucket Seats and Console The car was originally black, but it was painted red over 30 years ago. You can see in the pictures how nice the body is. There are a few bubbles, but that is to be expected. All bumpers chrome and stainless are original to the car. It has all original glass that I would consider above average. Please look at the pictures as I think the car speaks for it’s self. The Comet also has a set of 14 inch Pacer alloy wheels with chrome center caps and a brand new set of 195/70R14 Primewell all-season radial tires. I HAVE A CLEAR KENTUCKY TITLE IN HAND.
