I am looking to sell my Jeep Grand Cherokee. It's been a great car to me and I hate to see it go but now that I have officially moved to the city, I no longer have a need for it. My parents have put extensive work into over the years so it is in good condition. We recently replaced the brakes and brake lines, the battery, and the starter for a price of over $2,300. I have receipts for all work. Due to the recent work on the car I think it is reasonable to ask for $2,000 as a buy it now price. This is even less than the Kelly Blue Book value which rates it at $2,100 for a car that is in good condition. There are two main problems with the car; 1. The back hatch doesn't open but the back window does so you can still get things in and out of the back compartment. 2. The stereo system doesn't always work. Sometimes it's fine and works perfectly. At other times, only the clock will come on. I think it might be a simple fuse problem. Both of the issues are relatively minor and would not be that much work to fix. There are other typical dings ans a scratch or two but nothing very obvious. All in all the car is in good shape. The car has been recently cleaned. It's got power locks, windows, mirrors, steering, and seats. I am looking to sell it as soon as possible. The car was purchased from a family friend in 2004. We have put over $6,000 of work into the car since that time. Payment method can be discussed upon purchase and retrieval of the car. Paypal, cash, and venmo are all acceptable options.
