This car originally belonged to an older non-smoking lady in Boise. When she passed, her son inherited it and it sat for several years until I purchased it from him. I've put some work into cleaning it up and repairing brakes and air conditioner. It runs strong and handles well. The body is very straight for a car of this vintage. Glass is in good shape. Grill is in good shape. The engine compartment is relatively clean given the age of the car. I just spent $1,094.33 on brake system repairs and a new air conditioning compressor. This is a fun car to drive and would be good for someone who didn't want to put a lot of money into a straight collectible. As far as things to fix, I'll give my observations. I don't want to mislead in any way and want this car to go to a satisfied buyer. The car has minimal surface rust from sitting outdoors for a time. Most of the rust is on the top of the car. The trunk and hood are in good shape. I would recommend removing the rear glass, working the rust on the lip and reinstalling the rear glass and sealing. The left rear bezel is slightly cracked and dented and the tail light lens is broken but the light still works. Possibly the owner was backed into or backed into something. The only damage to the sheet metal is door dings along the sides and a slight crease in one of the fender skirts. Power antenna, radio and clock do not work. Power windows all work but need to be lubed up. This is a 2 door and both doors need new weather stripping. Interior upholstery is in good shape but some of the stitching has pulled loose in seat corners due to age. Carpet is original and in OK shape. Has older Uniroyal studded tires which have tread life but are older so will eventually need new tires. Has all 4 hubcaps which are in good condition. Shocks and exhaust systems are OK but will eventually need replaced. Odometer does not work but the previous owner told me that his aunt used it as a grocery getter in town.
