Vehicle Detail

This is a 1980 Triumph TR 7 for sale. It is a 30th Anniversary edition and is Green with Tan Top and Tan Interior. It has the original and recently rebuilt engine, the original 5 speed transmission and new Weber carburetors. It has a new canvas top, and an updated AM-FM CD Stereo Radio. It is fitted for AC, but that has been disconnected since purchased. Current owner bought the car in 2007 in San Diego, CA with 55,260 miles on it, put new tires on it and drove it back East. The previous owner purchased the car in the 90s from the estate of the original owner in Phoenix, AZ so it had been a desert dry car for most of its life. MD roads (and salt) have had some effect with rust on the fenders, but it is by no means completely “rusted out”. The odometer stopped working at 57,598. The following parts have been replaced: clutch, rear differential gasket, passenger side front wheel bearing, rear wheel brake cylinders, Air pump, air pump belt, brake hose, rotor, Petronix Electronic ignition installed, front brake pads replaced, , rear brake shoes, left rear axle seal, tie rod ends, ball joints, inner control arm bushings, sway bar bushings, front struts, spring seats, bump stops and boots. k-frame mounting pads, rack boots replaced, rear shocks, evaporative canisters, new canvas top (Rollins type). The following repairs have been made: wheel bearings greased; cylinder head removed, checked for integrity, machined surfaced and replaced with new gaskets; Zenith-Stromberg carbs were rebuilt, engine was removed, re-bored and overhauled, and reinstalled (fuel pump was replaced when engine was pulled). Last year, new Weber Dual Carburetors were installed. In all, over $13,000 worth of work has been performed since 2007. In addition, the original twin Zenith-Stromburg carburetors with the linkage and original air filter come with the car. Some electrical parts including new switches are included in the sale price. Pick-up and or shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. Deposit through Pay Pal is required, balance due before title is transferred.
