1997 Toyota Tacoma 4X4. Runs and drives good. I'm the third owner and have had it for about the last 6 years. Oil changed every 5000 miles. The bad: Needs a complete exhaust system (Midas quoted me $600). I'm not paying that much to have it fixed and have been driving it that way for years. A/C doesn't work (hasn't since I bought the truck and I never had it looked into). Leaks some oil (don't have a clue from where. I have to put about a 1/2 qt in every month.) Parking brake doesn't work. I was told its seized and needs a new cable assembly. I never bothered to have it fixed. I just leave the truck in gear when parked. Some good: Front brakes & rotors, four new tires, tune up and belts were done last year and the power steering lines were also replaced about a year before that. The truck is a bear in the snow and has never let me down. No accidents. Original paint with scratches, dings etc. Surprisingly no rust on the body anywhere except for a few very small spots starting on the front of the hood. Frame is in pretty good condition also...no rotted out spots just typical surface rust. Has sprayed in bed liner with Trifecta folding bed cover. The truck looks pretty good overall except for the rear bumper which has rusted out. Interior is in fair condition aside from the rip in the drivers seat. NJ Inspection good till 10/15. Sold as is.
