To many cars, so time to let something go. Selling my 1955 Chevy Belair. This belair only has 32,554 miles on it and it has been given immaculate care during its almost 60 years of life. For the last two decades it sat in a garage and never moved. So here is a list of things I did to get her back up and running. New fuel tank and all lines were flushed and blown clean, new fuel pump, rebuilt carb, new brake shoes and rebuilt wheel cylinder and replaced all the brake fluid, new oil filter and oil, replaced antifreeze, new belt and heater hoses, spark plugs cleaned, transmission fluid replaced, new battery, all new coker 205/75-R15 2-3/8" whitewall tires, oil bath air cleaner serviced, wiper motor rebuilt. The car runs and drives like new now and the only things that are not working are the radio (and it will hum to you) and the clock. All rubber molding and window felts are pristine as is the cloth lacing around the headliner. There are no holes of any kind on the interior but there are a few water stains on 3 of the door panels and one stain on the drivers side seat. Some plastic protective cover under front seat still remains from factory seat. 235 six with the two speed power glide transmission. The Belair still had the dealer window sticker on it when I got it and I removed it and had it laminated to preserve it. I have taken lots of pictures and tried to picture any defects which include small chips in the paint and other blemishes. Keep in mind that this is completely original paint and interior and as such it will not be perfect, it is 60 years old.
