This is a fully restored 1977 Landcruiser from the ground up, no expense spared. This truck originated from Alabama so there was no rust. Looks like new, actually better than new, I have kept the important stuff original but added the nice to have after market stuff to make it a better & safer truck. Has always been garaged & never winter driven. 2004 Complete ground up restoration; vehicle disassembled & painted, underbody rust proofed, replaced carbon steel body bolts with stainless steel, 4" lift, American Eagle Alloy Wheels with BF Goodrich 33x10.5R15 Tires, new Monroe shocks, replace front & rear oil seals, installed new headers(exhaust), roll bar, Warn 9500 lb winch, front bush guard & rear bumpers, muffler, power steering, re-upholster interior to factory spec, tinted windows-side&rear, new window channels, all new door seals, power brakes, centre console with built in radio & Alpine CD, chrome grab handles-passenger side, Viper Anti-theft Alarm System, Halogen head lamps, new seat belts, new headliner, new rubber floor mats & carpet, oil cooler. There are Spectre Off Road seat covers for all seats but I chose not to use on the front seats, the rear ones can be removed. 2006 In 2006, the following was completed by the local Toyota dealer (Toyota Plaza, St. John's, NL): original 2Fengine rebuild (new rings, rod bearings, main bearings, cam bearings, oil pump, lifters, camshaft, frost plugs, re-grind crankshaft, hone cylinders, re-bore was not required, cylinders were within spec), convert to electronic ignition (Fireball XR700), new horizontal steering stabilizer, over haul disc brakes (new calipers/pistons), new water pump, new heater valve & cable, new Weber 32/36 carburetor, new belts, hoses, battery. Comes with the owners manual & all records, receipts for the above work. Original steel wheels are included. Please note that the date of manufacture is November 1977 but the vehicle is registered as a 1978 model. I've lost my job and I'm forced to sell my baby. There is no reserve on this FJ40. Thank you and happy bidding! This is as nice a fj40 as you will find, everything works, there are no oil leaks, it starts instantly & runs very smooth with the new Weber carb & electronic ignition. Since engine overhaul there are about 500 miles on the engine. The paint & clear coat is perfect.
