1995 Subaru Legacy Station Wagon I have a 1995 Subaru Legacy Station Wagon with 241,023 miles The car starts right up every time but when I started it up to drive it prior to listing it for sale the car would not shift from 1st gear to 2nd gear during my test drive. I could however shift from Drive to 3rd using the shifter.(this is an automatic) I drove the car back home and checked the Transmission fluid and it was clean. I am not a mechanic so I have no idea what is going on or how to fix it or what it would cost to fix it. If you or someone you know is a mechanic this might be a good car for you. The car was driven from Tacoma to Olympia Washington five days a week for more than a year. My daughter had it shipped to Nashville TN so she would be able to get around before she went over seas. So if you think this car is for you and would like to see it before bidding let me know so we can meet for a test drive. My daughter drove the car 550 miles on a trip the week before she left. P.S.
