I purchased this bike from older man who owned it since 1972. I cleaned the carbs. Bike had stuck rings so I deglazed the cylinders installed new rings serviced all fluids, repacked wheel bearings and greased the splines. Installed new battery, new hand grips, 2 new throttle cables, clutch cable, plug wire ends retouched the paint on the frame. After reassembly bike started on second kick and run and rides like a dream. I have rode the bike about 400 miles with no problems what so ever. Bike has a few dings, dents, and scratches some holes have been drilled in the lower mud flap to mount lights or who knows. I have plugged holes with BMW rubber fender plugs. Original bikes are getting harder to find even though this bike has a few bruises it runs and rides great the way it is.
