Bought this vehicle from an auction, it said "runs and drives" when it arrived there was a pool of oil from the forklift. They busted the oil tank in the process, which has been replaced. The key would not turn the engine over, so a friend jumped the engine from the starter. I proceeded to purchase the body parts, replaced the starter, vacuum pump, upper radiator hose and battery. I ended up selling the battery. Not sure why it doesn't start, if you know about Volvo's this is perfect for you. I'm a novice at this, so my loss is your gain. I have just over $4,000 in parts repairs and of course purchase of the vehicle. The passenger side moonroof drain was letting water in when it rained, I put a tarp over the moonroof. I discovered a month ago there is a defect with the drain pipes, they are too short, so after I took the panel off, I could see the hose was not attached to the drain, and reattached it. There is a moist odor, but not strong. The auxiliaries work, windows, moonroof, radio, CD player, etc. The vehicle does have all the floor mats, just took them out due to the water draining into the vehicle. I did have the vehicle listed on CL and had the parts priced out, so that's why there's no battery, it was the only item that sold.
