I'm offering for sale the 1967 vw I've been working on for the last few years. I removed the engine(1971 1600cc) to retorque case and cylinder heads. I also adjusted the valves and replaced any leaking seals and gaskets. Engine sheetmetal was cleaned and painted,carb was rebuilt,distributor was replaced with correct vacuum advance item and new sparkplugs were installed. All hoses were replaced and correct clamps and insulators we installed. Engine starts quickly with automatic choke and runs smoothly with no oil leaks. Interior is in good condition with replacement of all four side panels supplied by Wolfsberg West, as were all the other parts I needed. Body panels are original paint with the exception of left front fender which is a genuine VW part but in primer. Vehicle drives smoothly and quietly for a VW and has been 100% reliable for me. I really like this car but have become interested in other things. I am the third owner and vehicle retains its original black Ca. plates(restored)and selling dealer plate frame. All electrical items operate as designed as does the heater/defroster. The floorpan has some rust through at right rear footwell as well as surface corrosion in some areas. This car has not been modified from stock or customized in any way.
