Up for auction is our 1988 Jeep Comanche 2WD short bed truck. Being the 3rd owners, we have owned this truck for 15 1/2 years. In fact, the truck's ownership has never lived more than 45 miles away from the dealership in Kokomo, Indiana where it was sold new. With 172,393 miles, it has been used as a truck. To my knowledge it has never been wrecked, and the 4 cyl engine is its original power plant. The clear coat and paint is faded. The wheels and tires that are on the truck are from a newer CJ series Jeep and have been on the truck for over 2 years. Even though I'm very attached to the truck, we are needing to thin out the number of vehicles we have due to the lack of inside storage. The truck also has its original wheels (rusty), a bed topper, a spare wheel and tire in very good shape, 2 additional tail gates plus an extra muffler, catalytic converter, tail pipe and outside bed panels from an '89 Comanche parts truck. (Both sets of wheels are included) The 4 cyl engine runs fairly well although the clutch is showing its wear. The seat needs some work and there is several rust places; however, the inside of the bed is rust free. The pigtail for trailer lights is fairly new. The original owner's manual is included. This is an "as-is, where-is" sale, and the buyer is responsible for all arrangements to transport the truck. There is ABSOLUTELY NO WARRANTY, written or implied, and it comes with an open, up-to-date Indiana title. Please note: I will not release the truck without the title being completely filled out with the new owner's name(s) and details.
