1950 Dodge Wayfarer This is a rare 1950 Dodge Wayfarer that is a crowd favorite. People young and old love this car everywhere it go's. The car starts effortlessly... one pump on the gas pedal and turn the key... she purrs to life ready to go. No smoke on start up or while driving. The clutch is excellent and it motors down the road straight and true. The brakes stop good and straight without any drama or dive. All of the lights work including the hi-beams, low-beams, running lights, front and rear turn signals, brake lights and dash lights... including the dash dimmer feature. The rear light and light switch for the passengers in back works too. The heater, defrost and blower all work as well. Even the original lighter still works. All of the gauges work and illuminate. The gas gauge does occasionally stick. And the horn isn't working but everything is present, I will try to have the horn fixed before the car is picked up. The windows roll up and down perfectly and the cowl vent works nice and smooth and seals tight. I took the carpet and spare out to take pictures of the trunk, they are included. The car has an electric fuel pump for reliability that works just like a modern car... turn the key and start. The tires are all matching Dunlop Gold Seal "78" Sport wide white walls size G78-15. Original wheels and hub caps are all present and in very nice condition. The car has had one repaint years ago and still shows very well with minor blemishes. Very nice chrome and stainless. Very solid body, no dents or filler. There is a bullet hole and crack in the front passenger side windshield. It doesn't obstruct the drivers view in any way. The interior was done in dark brown with tan carpeting and dark brown bindings with oak scuff plates and kick panels. The dash is 100% original and untouched. The original headliner is the same one that the car left the factory with in 1950. The car also has a very nice period correct steel Fulton Sun Shield. Rear fender skirts are fiberglass and removable.The engine compartment is all original... including the air filter, Ball & Ball carburetor, breather cap, dipstick etc. It also has a period correct Kats Engine Heater Model K-9 850w 120v block heater. Fresh full service oil change, gear box and rear diff. service, new spark plugs and greased all the fittings. Clean title in hand and ready to go.
