Vehicle Detail

Really nice 1980 CJ7 in Good Overall Condition, Keep in mind the jeep is 34 years old. Bought from a retired gentleman from Florida who owned since 2003, previous owner was also from Florida. They both owned a home in a Mountain Community here in WNC. I can not confirm of miles are 35k or 135k. The frame looks like the Jeep is from Fl and miles of 35k, but i don't know. The Title is from Florida and ready to go for next owner. Previous engine was a 258ci V6, that was bad after 2003. Then 2 more engines were bought in Fl and were told they were good, but ended up being bad, so previous owner got ok from wife to purchase NEW. So, it was delivered to airport as a Crate 350 and arrived in a crate. Appoxiamately 9-10k miles driven since new crate 350 motor installed around 2005. Cost was $2200.00. Also, the 4 barrel edelbrock carb and edelbrock upper intake manifold, correct valve cover covers, H.D. Radiator and misc engine compenents. The clutch and Transmission were already done by previous owner. The front and rear seats were purchased new, some aluminum plating to hide minor rust, new battery in last year. Brake Rotors look great, even tire wear. Here are some positives below: Positives:1. Good Frame, not rusted out!2. Solid Engine with less than 10k, GM 350 Motor purchased around 05'. Cost was $2200.003. Transmission looks to be rebuilt, shifts into 4-spd gears smoothly and clutch has good stiffness.4. Engine has newer 4 Barrel Edelbrock Carb, upper Edelbrock Intake and Air Filter.5. Newer HD Radiator, New Battery, Newer Hoses, Newer Fan Belt.6. previous owner installed toggle switch for rear lights for pulling(tow & normal) 7 .Interior actually looks pretty good, radio works, very little rust spots.8. Really comfortable newer seats, material is not vinyl, it does feel like Gortex type material or water repealent.9. Hard Top is in great condition, except for rear door, i believe the lock doesn't work.10. Clean open clear title from State of Florida.11. Super HD rear custom bumper, check out in pictures, really nice!12. Rear tire/wheel holder.13. F150 Wheels and 31" tires, fits great inside wheel wells with correct offset.14. Comes with Tow Bar for towing Jeep behind RV.15.Also have Tan Top (Half-type) and Grey Cabover Cover in great cond.16.Jeep is fresh out of the Detail Shop and had Oil Changed,Tire Rotation/Balanced as of 9/11/1417. Weather Stripping looks pretty good.18. New Front Steering Bushings and Control Arms as you can see from one of my pics.19. Electric Fuel Pump.Stuff on Jeep that needs attention at some point in future: 1. Oil, Fuel & Temp Gauges need to be re-wired. Speedo & Odometer works fine. 2. Needs a longer rear brake cable if you want to go off roading. Works fine and long enough for normal street driving. 3. Body Mounts need to be replaced. $60.00-$75.00 kit on eBay and Alignment.4. Needs a Rear U-Joint, a $9.00 part on eBay. Well, I tried to be as thorough as possible to prevent a buyer from wasting their time. As you can read from the suff that Jeep needs, it doesn't take much more to get condition to really nice to excellent condition and give many more years of fun. 828-423-1071 9am-9pm Eastern Time Zone only! I wanted to put some information below about some of the cost to fix these Jeeps. It really helps to understand why they typically sell from 20's-30k all complete.
