Here's a cool bugeye Sprite project. I have too many others so this one really needs to find a new home.I have a clean TN title in my name. The vehicle is in Wilmington, NC and must be picked up there. You cannot drive this car as it is a project car. PLEASE BID ONLY IF YOU INTEND TO FOLLOW-THRU WITH THE PURCHASE!It has the original 948cc factory number matching engine and car color was Iris Blue as verified through the British Motor Heritage Foundation. Would make a terrific stock restoration. Engine turns over nicely and has good compression (ranged from 118-135) but I have not tried to start it (no fuel tank installed). Has original SU carbs and air filters. The car had been stripped and primed by a previous owner (one of the stripped pics included). There had been some metal work done by him as well, but some of it really needs to be re-done, specifically the floorboards. I included many pics so that you can see what the project entails. Note that the windshield has been removed from the car and the frame and side supports are included. However, the glass has been removed and discarded as it was cracked. There is a fuel tank (probably needs replacement) and sender unit included as well as a box of small items. Car is fairly complete, but most all parts are easily available through Moss Motors or Victoria British; both are here in the US. The online forums have the nicest, most knowledgeable people you can imagine, so help is at the tip of your fingers.
