You are viewing an amazing Rust Free example of this 1985 Mercedes 300 Cd. I purchased the car from 2 brothers who have owned it since new. The car has 108,548 Original miles and this is very low for this diesel engine. The car is champagne gold metallic and the paint is in excellent condition . Its very shiny and shows nearly zero imperfections, only a few stone chips that were touched up. The Interior is Pristine. Its Palamino Leather not MB text. Leather was a Rare option for the Coupe. As you can see in the pics the wood is pristine and has zero cracks , also the dashboard is pristine as well. Carpets ,headliner door panels are all in amazing condition as well. I have had lot's of these cars but never seen one with a interior as beautiful as this one. You can tell the car was always garaged and they had sheep skin seat covers on the seats most of its life. The car has the Original radio , Power antenna that works as well. The climate control functions perfect. Ice cold AC and hot heat. All the power windows and sunroof works as well. I added a wood shifter to compliment the beautiful wood and give it that classy look. Mechanically you will see this 300 Cd to be exceptional and highly detailed. my dad and I took weeks removing the valve cover and polishing it to look better then new. We painted all the lines and gave this car the love it deserves. I replaced the fuel lines, new fuel filters, air filter, oil change with shell Rotella 15/40 . New valve cover gasket. New oil pan gasket , Radiator was flushed and has all new coolant. You can eat off the engine its very dry. The car starts right up and is very smooth at idle It has great power when driving and the turbo kicks in immediately . The transmission shifts very smooth as well. The suspension is very tight and makes zero noises. I replaced all 4 tires and the rims are pristine as well . The brakes are in excellent condition and were done less than a year ago. 1985 Was the last year of the 123 chasis car. It was considered the best Mercedes ever built and very few coupes were made. I decided to spend a lot of time and money and make the car showroom new so that someone will get a car that they can be proud to drive and show off. Its a passion of mine to find these cars and detail them to the highest standard. I only search for low mileage cars , ones with excellent paint and interiors.
