This car came to me to be restored this winter but the gentleman passed away and the family has asked that I sell it. It is a 1976 Triumph TR6. I purchased a new battery for it today and it started right up. All of the gauges worked and I filled it up with gas and drove it an hour and a half. It runs cool and charges properly but one of the brakes grabs a little, probably from sitting a while. This car has an overdrive transmission and a new clutch. It has good, clean original Triplex glass. It has a new brake master cylinder and the enigne was completely gone through 5k miles ago. I have the reciepts for everything. They replaced the fuel tank at the time of the rebuild. I also have(not pictured) a new knock off tool, manual and parts books, nice top boot, and a couple of boxes of new and used odds and ends. The top has two broken snaps that I will fix before pick up and it has one small rip that I will re-stitch. The drivers seat has a whole in the bottom cushion and will need recovered. This car is clean and solid underneath and the frame is very good. Each floor pan has a small patch on it but you can't hardly see it from underneath the car. This car can be driven while it is being restored. The paint is tired and there is filler in the back fenders but this car has ways more going for it than detracting from it. The trunk is clean and has no holes or cancer. It had old carpet in it but I threw it away. I have a new antenna for it but no radio. There is also a small exhast leak under the car where the header pipe attaches to the main exhaust pipe. I will see if I can fix that too before it is picked up. All in all, a good car for the money that deserves to be restored.
