I bought this car 10 years ago from Alabama, it came to me solid with patchy surface rust spots . I stripped all paint and prior lead work and a small amount of bondo on front fenders from minor dents repaired in the 80's. This car will need to be repainted to bring it to the level it deserves. The bird droppings ruined the 9 year old poly paint that at one time looked great.. It will need at this point a gas tank purchased all other odds and ends are going with the vehicle, such as triple chrome plated rear bumper , generator (rebuilt with extra brushes and bushings) new adjustable regulator the cloth wires going to the existing regulayor need to be replaced or reinsulated. boxes of nos and used parts 10 years of buying everything i came accross .. If new owner wants to pay for gas tank I will install it before delivery. This car is a head turner and I have never seen another.. If you check with Haggerty insurane they will give yo the number of known Sport Coupes in existance.. The motor was rebuilt and better valves were installed so it can run on the new crappy gas that is available. on pass side behind door near rocker is the only area that will need metal work about 3X3 area. The pictures do not show the area very well. The frame is in amazing shape, the door area on floor is showing some rust that should be coated and treated. Trunk area is very nice some surface rust again from sitting. Intereor is basically complete seats are not ripped headliner has condensation staining. and a 1 inch spot where a mouse violated the car.. The option of VACUUM ASSIST SHIFTER is still operating. no floor covering at all. If I didn't need to sell I wouldn't this for me is a once in a lifetime car, super good on many levels.
