Only 11,940 mile, always garage kept and great gas mileage. This 1999 model is larger and somewhat heavier than the current CBR600RR, but this bike still offers hair-raising performance. It also has the added attraction of a wide seat, which means day-long comfort for a rider/passenger and you can ride this bike all day without getting a charlie horse. For 1999, Honda revisited its engineering drawing board and added a host of upgrades over the 1998 model including a low-friction crankshaft, a slimmer engine head design, composite cylinder sleeves, flat-slide carbs and a complex two-stage ram-air system. All of this adds up to 116 horsepower at the crank with a top speed around 155 mph. The bike is tall with broad tail section, which means there's actually some storage space below the passenger seat. The rear tires are 180/55ZR17, which means the entire current crop of super-sticky sports rubber are available for this machine. The 43mm conventional forks are adjustable, as is the rear shock. Additional infomation There is no exhaust smoke and the bike does not shake or rattle. A dent on the gas take, scratches on the crank case, and scratches on the plastic. The bike was dropped 4 years ago on the opposite side under 10 MPH, which also only resulted in minor cosmetic damage. The muffler is slightly dented/scratched and the plastic is scratched.
