Adult owned, loved and pampered. Beautiful garaged 1989 Mustang Notchback/Coupe/Trunk car. 5 speed. 116,xxx original miles. Located just South of Raleigh North Carolina. Original drivetrain with no signs of excessive wear. I bought the car from another Ford enthusiast in Greensboro NC. To my knowledge there was one previous owner also from NC that did the bulk of the restoration and upgrades. The car has very little rust. When I purchased the car it had the following mild engine, transmission upgrades: Hooker headers, BBK air intake, Shorty shifter with aluminum bezel and shift knob. Flowmaster exhaust with chrome tips. Things I have done to the car: Mechanical: When I got the car home I noticed a dime sized oil spot on my garage floor. After spending so much money on the car, I wanted it to be perfect so I took it to a performance mustang shop in a Raleigh NC (Piedmont Custom Motorsports.). I had the engine pulled after they discovered a leak in the rear main seal. Since I had the engine out the clutch, pressure plate, flywheel and throw out bearing were replaced with heavy duty parts. I also had the intake and valve cover gaskets replaced. Oil leak stopped. After recovering from that repair bill I later took it back to Piedmont and had a performance tune up done including Ford Racing wires, plugs, etc. I also had installed a billet clutch adjuster. A friend and I installed a Mishimoto radiator (Mish R138) and Blue Mishimoto high temp hose kit (Mus 86BL.) I've had new door seals and door actuators installed this month 08/14. As well as an anti slosh sensor (made inoperable fuel gauge work.) Air conditioner and cruise control work although the A/C could use a charge. Interior: The interior of the car is one of it's strongest features. The interior is black and in mint condition. No cracks or fading of any kind on the dash and console. Black carpeting and seats have no visible wear. The car really looks new inside. The cigarette lighter/coin cup insert is new and aftermarket. The original console/armrest is very nice. It has a pioneer CD player. Exterior: You will fall in love with the looks of this car when it is clean!! The paint is not flawless but it really is beautiful. Weld wheels with metallic blue accents (5 spoke.) Matching BFG Traction T/A tires. Fronts are P205 65 R15, Rears are P255 60 R15 radials. Tread is over 90% on all four. 302 H.O. Aftermarket badges New crystal clear headlights. The engine bay is spotless and beautiful. The car is very sexy and garage kept. There are no strange sounds, smells or surprises. Runs like a sewing machine. She could easily be a show car with minor love. I will take the car to any local garage for inspection at the cost of potential buyer. Would consider trades for 4x4 Ford Truck with 7.3 Powerstroke of equal value. No test drives without cash in hand. More pictures for serious inquiries.
