Up for auction is my restored 1981 Jeep CJ7 Laredo with a 4.2 liter engine and a 4 speed transmission. I purchased the jeep out of Ventura California. Jeep is very clean with no visible signs of rust. The title is clean. Please feel free to call me at 262-877-3679 with any questions. Engine/Transmission/ Drive Train- the 4.2 liter engine starts up and runs great. 134,900 original miles. Idles nice at 8,000 RPM with good oil pressure. The Dana 300 transfer case was gone through and all new seals installed. Shifts and engages great. The locking hubs turn freely and lock up as they should. The SR4 4 speed transmission shifts nicely with new seals installed. Model 20 rear axle with new pinion seal and Dana 30 front axle. Chassis/Suspension- The frame on the jeep is as clean and solid as the day in came out of the factory. New Rancho 2 1/2 suspension lift with RS9000 adjustable shocks front and rear.. Zone 1/2 lift front and rear shackles. New 32" Cooper Discoverer Radial LT tires mounted on new 15 x 8 American Eagle 186 Super Finish wheels. Interior- The interior on the jeep is in immaculate condition. The Laredo seats are in excellent condition with no rips or tears. Original center console in excellent shape with key and new 100% leather pad. All new carpeting. New clock, voltmeter and oil pressure gauges. The speedometer gauge cluster and tach are original. The tach does act up once in a while and doesn't move but if you lightly tap it it works fine. I think its just a loose connection just never got around to looking in to it. Awesome stereo system. New Alpine CD/MP3 player. Boss speakers mounted behind the dash with Pioneer 6 x 9 3 way speakers in the rear mounted in VDP boxes. Body/Tub- Jeep comes with a brand new Bestop soft top and doors. The undercarriage on the jeep is super clean and solid with no signs of rust. Body apears to be solid with no visible signs of rust. The paint on the jeep is older then the rest of the restoration and repainted a while back. It is not a 10 point show quality paint job . I do not know how long ago it was repainted but it has held up its shine throughout the years. Some dirt in area's that was not cleaned properly before painting. There are chips that have been touched up and some cracks in the paint but the jeep still shows vwey well and gets compliments wherever it go's. This is a very nice super clean jeep for your weekend cruises or to show off at your local car shows. Starts and runs great. Rides nice and straight down the road with no wandering.
