1979 GMC Street Coupe Stepside. Unique vehicle. 454cid, last year the big block was available in a half ton until 1990 with the SS trucks. Several motor options were available for this year, but I have not seen another big block in this year/color combo in the 14 years I have owned it. Street Coupe package RPO Z77 available only on wide side and fender side 6 1/2 foot box models, was offered from 1978-1981. I purchased it non-running and I had the motor professionally rebuilt in' 06. I have driven it very little since then. Truck has original paint, with rust in the usual places. This has been garage kept since 1999. Drive and enjoy as is, or restore it to its original glory. This model was featured in Motor Trend Magazine in the January 1979 issue and in an episode of the TV series The Rockford Files. I have additional literature that I will include in the purchase, as well as, the original service contract/quotation worksheet. These are far and few between!
