Vehicle Detail
1991 Chevrolet Z-28 Third Generation Camaro Convertible. Sharp looking true Z-28. 305 V8 5.0 Tuned port injection with an Automatic transmission, Engine runs well, transmission shifts smoothly, the car has a great tough sound to it. 134k original miles Power Windows, locks, steering, brakes, tilt, cruise. Nearly new General G-Max Tires P225/55 ZR 16. I only took a close up photo of one tire (didn't want to waste the eBay photo space) but all 4 have the same amount of tread and were purchased as a matching set. Cold A/C. Has a new Delco compressor and dryer. The body is in good condition, the paint which is about 3 years old (previous owner had it painted) looks good and shines well. The front nose, lower valance and rear bumper are also in good shape. The seats are gray cloth, slightly faded, but in good shape, the carpet looks good. The rubber window seals (sweeps) on both doors have been replaced on the inside and outside of the windows. The canvas (not vinyl) convertible top is a few years old, but it’s tight and in good shape. The top is manual, the part of the top that meets the cars body at the trunk has turned up some (pictured), when closed, it is really tight. The Camaro handles well, it's been well maintained and has always been dependable. It makes No weird sounds, it leaks nothing on the garage floor. Some things that I'd like you to be aware of are as follows: The dash has cracks (Pictured), the plastic piece that covers the area beneath the gearshift in the center console is missing a piece (Pictured). There are swirl marks in the paint from being buffed and a few minor scratches and dimples and such. Some of the rubber and plastic pieces around the doors are dry from the sun. The cruise, horn and tachometer aren’t working (The cruise needs a new servo, and the horn isn’t connected to the aftermarket steering wheel, I never had the tach checked out). The passenger side window is slow, the windshield has wiper blade marks on it and lastly, the power lock actuators for the doors and top release are weak and don’t always work completely when the buttons are pushed. The Camaro is a nice, fun, dependable driver, not a show car, but then it's not listed at a show car price either. If you're local or even if you're not and would like to check the car out in person or have it inspected prior to bidding, let me know and we'll work the timing out. I'm in West Palm Beach Florida. Anyway, shoot me an email if you have any questions. If you'd rather speak on the phone, include your phone number and a good time to call. Thanks!
