For sale is my 2011 R1200RT with 13,685 miles. Color is Polar Ice Metallic. This is the factory option low suspension model. It has the BMW comfort seat which is an $800 seat upgrade. The front Continental tire is in excellent condition. The rear has a brand new Continental tire that was installed on 8/20/14. Zero miles on the rear tire.Bike is in excellent condition and has never been wrecked or dropped. It is a premium package bike which includes the factory stereo option,cruise control, heated grips, ABS brakes, on board computer, traction control, dual powerlet ports and electric shield. I have all the keys and manuals. The GPS mount on the bike and shown in the photos is not included, sorry. There are three very small rock chips on the right side of the bike as shown in the photos. All three can easily be hidden with touch up paint but I wanted to fully disclose these. Bike has always been garaged and is very clean.12k service was completed at 12,600 miles and is documented. This includes checking and adjusting the valves, changing oil, changing transmission fluid, changing rear drive fluid, flushing brakes, synching throttle bodies, checking spark plugs, hooking to computer to check fault codes, resetting the service reminder and numerous visual checks. The fuel pump flange recall was fixed on this bike on 7/1/14 by Engle Motors in Kansas City and I have the paperwork.This bike is fully serviced and ready to ride. It has no issues. I will allow test rides determined on a case by case basis. Warranty is going to expire on this bike in a few weeks but it is possible to buy an extended warranty from BMW (really not worth it on a late model boxer BMW in my opinion).Bike is freshly detailed, waxed, including the engine and wheels.Bike has a clear title with no lien. Additional info: I was asked about whether this bike had heated seats. The answer is yes but they are not activated. The low suspension model came from the factory with a low seat without heat and no driver's heated seat switch. The low seat was swapped out for the BMW comfort seat which has driver's and passenger's heat. However they were never hooked up. There are two ways to hook them up. The factory route will require a new right side switch cluster which costs $195 and the two cords which go to the seat which are about $20 each. The factory harness has the driver's and passenger heat plugs under the seat. The dealer will then need to hook it to their computer and enable the heated seats. So for right around $280 it will have factory heated seats which will appear on the dash when they are activated. The other option is to install a panel mounted heat troller for the rider's heat. The passenger seat has the switch built into the seat. A $5 automotive relay will be needed and the two BMW seat cords. This route will not require the dealer to enable the seats. The driver's seat will have an infinite level of heat control but the indicators on the dash will not come on with the seats. This route will cost about $100. I was asked why the bike has a Montana license plate. We own property in Montana but the bike has always been garaged in Kansas City.
