This truck runs good, idles very nicely. Over all it is a good Datsun 620. I drive it to work a few times a week. I am selling it for 2 reasons. I wanted a 620 but not one that had been this modded and two I just bought an unmolested 620 so there is no room in the garage for this one. Here is the story on this great little 1976 Datsun truck. The previous owner had built this truck around 1991. It has not been updated since, as far as looks go. I bought it so that I could save the truck from the crusher. This truck had a blown motor when purchased along with bad brakes. I installed a good, tight L20b from a 77 620. I fixed the breaks and installed a new alternator. I also had to fix the door popper, new one purchased from Jegs. The old steel rims that were on the truck were rusted so I put these Hardbody rims on. The former owner installed a second gas tank which I disabled when we installed the replacement engine. Here is the starting and at idle Engine: L20b 4 speed Dual exhaust with resonators Body: Shaved door handles Shaved bed hooks Shaved tailgate Factory Datsun Fender Flares (from what I am told) Door popper, driver side only Interior: Racing seats Woodgrain grant steering wheel Aftermarket gauges (water, oil pressure and battery) Dash pad Wood grain dash and center console Custom door panels Good: 1. Truck runs good 2. Most of the major work is already done 3. New battery, alternator, rear brakes and break lines 4. Minimal rust (see pictures) Bad: 1. Wiring for the door poppers needs to be cleaned up and the control unit needs to be remounted under the dash. It only looks ugly but works fine. 2. The previous owner installed an aftermarket A/C unit and then it was torn out. The broke the right part of the console and there are a few hoses that need to be removed. 3. The body work and paint are from 1991 so there is a little bit of rust and the paint is faded. See pictures 4. The seats a few holes and wear spots. 5. The truck is a time capsule in need of updating6. If you let the truck sit for a week without starting, the choke needs a little help to start.
