For Sale is a 1966 VW Beetle in need of restoration.The car has a 1600 cc motor with a 4-speed manual transmission. The body is in very solid condition,good floors but needs a small area repaired under where battery sits, the rest is very good. It needs a windshield and one rear side window, the rest are all good.The car was last registered in 2002 and after that someone started a restoration then lost interest. The motor has been converted to 12v and was said to be rebuilt and their is a reciept for a rebuilt motor in 2002. The motor starts and does run with auxillary tank because tank in car should be cleaned. As stated before the body is is very good condition and would make for a good low budget restoration for a driver quality car. Also a great project for someone just starting out. This car is to be sold AS-IS and the reserve has been lowered.The car is for sale locally so i reserve the right to end auction early if sold.
