My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a very low mile 1987 Mazda RX-7. I would rate the exterior of this RX-7 to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. While this Mazda has extremely low miles for its age, please keep in mind that it is an older vehicle so it is not cosmetically perfect. The light blue finish shines nicely for its age. There are a few scuffs and scrapes here and there. There is also a spot or two of surface corrosion from age and a few dings on the hood. The body lines up nice and straight. The hood, doors and rear hatch all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The original alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice set of rubber with deep tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the 65 photos carefully. I would rate the interior of this RX-7 to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, the previous owner took excellent care of his RX-7. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets are clean and full looking throughout the interior. The seats also show well for their age and are comfortable. As with most older Japanese cars, the interior is pretty basic. Everything is manually operated and works properly. The sunroof is power. I can hear the motor run when you press the button but the roof does not open. Everything in the interior is original down to the radio...which works properly and still sounds good. This RX-7 has optional factory air conditioning which also still works. The cargo area is clean. This RX-7 comes with its original owners books, original purchase invoice and two keys. Mechanically, this RX-7 appears to be in good running and driving condition. Admittedly, I am not an expert on these cars as there are few left out there to buy. The 1.3L rotary engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. She keeps excellent oil pressure and perfect temperature at all times. There have been no idiot lights on. Her road manners are remarkable. It has probably been 15 years since I've driven one of these...I forgot how fun they are to drive! The suspension feels perfectly tight and holds corners remarkably well. The steering and brakes feel excellent, too. The engine makes good power and revs freely. Another important aspect to these cars is how light they are. When you combine the light weight of the RX-7 with its rev-happy rotary engine, you end up with an incredibly amusing vehicle. The clutch in this RX-7 is brand new (less than 100 miles on it). The clutch that was in it when I got the car was the original one and it had just seen its day so I had the clutch replaced. Needless to say, the clutch engages smoothly and does not slip or chatter at all. Gear changes through the manual transmission are nice and smooth as they should be. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. This RX-7 has a current PA safety and emissions inspection good through the end of November, 2014. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a very low mile 1987 Mazda RX-7. I would rate the exterior of this RX-7 to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. While this Mazda has extremely low miles for its age, please keep in mind that it is an older vehicle so it is not cosmetically perfect. The light blue finish shines nicely for its age. There are a few scuffs and scrapes here and there. There is also a spot or two of surface corrosion from age and a few dings on the hood. The body lines up nice and straight. The hood, doors and rear hatch all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The original alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice set of rubber with deep tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the 65 photos carefully.
I would rate the interior of this RX-7 to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, the previous owner took excellent care of his RX-7. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets are clean and full looking throughout the interior. The seats also show well for their age and are comfortable. As with most older Japanese cars, the interior is pretty basic. Everything is manually operated and works properly. The sunroof is power. I can hear the motor run when you press the button but the roof does not open. Everything in the interior is original down to the radio...which works properly and still sounds good. This RX-7 has optional factory air conditioning which also still works. The cargo area is clean. This RX-7 comes with its original owners books, original purchase invoice and two keys.
Mechanically, this RX-7 appears to be in good running and driving condition. Admittedly, I am not an expert on these cars as there are few left out there to buy. The 1.3L rotary engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. She keeps excellent oil pressure and perfect temperature at all times. There have been no idiot lights on. Her road manners are remarkable. It has probably been 15 years since I've driven one of these...I forgot how fun they are to drive! The suspension feels perfectly tight and holds corners remarkably well. The steering and brakes feel excellent, too. The engine makes good power and revs freely. Another important aspect to these cars is how light they are. When you combine the light weight of the RX-7 with its rev-happy rotary engine, you end up with an incredibly amusing vehicle. The clutch in this RX-7 is brand new (less than 100 miles on it). The clutch that was in it when I got the car was the original one and it had just seen its day so I had the clutch replaced. Needless to say, the clutch engages smoothly and does not slip or chatter at all. Gear changes through the manual transmission are nice and smooth as they should be. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. This RX-7 has a current PA safety and emissions inspection good through the end of November, 2014. Winning Bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us via eBay Message within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. Please do not leave a voicemail on the office phone.
Full payment is due within 7 day of the auction's end. The prefferred method is to bring cash in person to complete the sale. If you are unable to bring cash in person within seven days or will be having the vehicle shipped, we also accept Certified Checks, USPS Postal Money Orders, and wire transfer.
PayPal is not an accepted payment method. This includes Bill Me Later.
We cannot accept credit cards or personal checks.
Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangments are made.
Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are able to complete most tag, registration, and title work, as well as collect sales tax, for Pennsylvania residents.
For out-of-state buyer we can issue a 30-day temporary tag (aka In-Transit tag). The cost is $39 and the buyer must show a valid driver's license and current proof of insurance.
