You are bidding on a 2003 Cadillac CTS-base model. Car has 148xxx miles, still runs great. As listed above, it does have a really small dent on driver side fender (shown in pic) and after putting a for sale sign on it, the alarm system started acting up. It's still able to be started and driven. Read everything below... the small issues it has are listed below and I also put what the dealership said the issue could be (which they said it doesn't look to be any type of major issue) Motor still runs great, transmission is still shifting smooth, interior is very clean as well as the exterior. I've already purchased a new vehicle and am not trying to put any additional money onto this car. Also, I can't continue to park both cars at my apartment, Landlord wants it out. I had a dealership check the ECM (which would have been a bigger issue but they said that it was NOT the ECM), was told the alarm system issues could be something as simple as a pass lock censor or a module. The passenger window does get stuck down a couple inches but it's not the window motor, it's related to the alarm issue. (A lot cheaper/ easier fix than the ECM from what I've been told by the dealership). I'm not a mechanic so I'm not 100% sure, but just going by what a reputable Cadillac dealership told me, after they checked the computer/ECM. I owned the car for approx 7 years and it still runs great, my dad use to be a mechanic so we always kept up on the oil changes and other basic maintenance. Also we have already done the spark plugs, tune up, oil changes etc all relatively recently, as well as put a new battery in etc.(pictures of the exact car up for auction are shown above) pic of driver sides small dent in fender, the other pics show how clean the car is. Including pictures of the car, under the hood,and the interior) The car is sold 100% as is. Exterior is in good condition besides the one small dent in the fender (driver side, shown in pictures) and interior is in good condition( I already had the seats professionally repaired from a few small rips on seats. Back seat is now two tone, Black and Tan to match the black door panels and tan seats). Other than that only issue I know of is the issue with the alarm system, which I explained previously and listed exactly what the dealership said they thought it was,which as they said it didn't seem to be a big issue at all ( I took in to account that these small issues will need to be fixed in the future,which is why This is a great car for anyone looking for a great luxury car, just needs a little bit of work, as listed above, but the car still starts and can be driven.Or this would also be a great car for anyone who has the same style car, who is looking for parts for their car, or want to put parts of their car into this car. So you are bidding on a great luxury car, that just needs a little work done in the future, but I took that into account with the price I listed it for. It makes it fair for the buyer so they can get the car A lot cheaper than normal, be able to fix the small issues in future and still end up owning a reliable car for a lot less than the value of it. Car is listed at such a low starting price because my landlord wants it gone since I already purchased another car, just have no room for the Cadillac anymore. It hurts me to have to get rid of it but I'd rather it go to someone that had the time it deserves. As I said the car the car still dies start and drive, I listed the small issues the car had above(which I wasn't guessing, I was going by a top rated Cadillac dealership). Car is sold As Is . I've listed the issues as I saw them(I am not a mechanic). As I said I believe the car has an issue with the the alarm system, the "service theft system" appears on the dash. When the car is running I have no had any issues with driving it, just as I said the window acts as if it's locked due to the alarm/issue the car is having. The key sometimes does get stuck but the manual release is easy to access so you can get the key out easily. I am not a mechanic, I listed the issues as I saw them, and the rest was just going by what a reputable Cadillac Dealership told me when I brought the car in. The car is sold as is, I just don't have the time or money to put into a car that I can't keep(I purchased another car because I needed transportation for work ASAP). And as I listed prior, the motor and transmission were still running smoothly, the car was kept up on oil changes and other basic maintenance. I am just not good with electrical issues, and didn't have the time or money to put in the car at this time. I didn't want to get rid of the car, but because of needing a car for work I purchased another vehicle and now have no room for this car.. If I knew the exact issue I would love to be able to tell everyone, but I don't.
