1937 Pontiac 2 door "Business Coupe". Original condition throughout. Garaged forever. I'm selling this car for a friend. The Business coupe was used for the traveling salesman of the day. Wooden shelf/storage section in the trunk is intact. They are usually rotted or missing altogether. Last registered in 1958. Previous owner stated it ran when parked many years ago. The engine turns freely. Drive train is complete. Original 16" wheels, beauty rings, and hubcaps are in good shape. It appears the paint is original. All steel body is solid and mostly rust free with the exception of an area behind the rear bumper where the trunk lid sets. This is a water collection area, typical of these cars. Not to bad, but there. Forward portion of the passenger floorboard has a small area of rust through, still completely solid..Original seats have good frames and springs,etc. Covers are trashed. Headliner missing. I would say 95% plus of the components are with the car. Extra carb and oil bath filter. This car would be a nice restoration, rat rod , or hot rod project. A little more rare than the Ford, Chevy coupes... Please review the pics for overall evaluation, etc. A nice, solid, early coupe with lots of potential.
