Vehicle Detail

Thank you for taking the time to review this auction for a 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback “C” code. The vehicle title for the car matches the VIN on the car and has not been altered in any way, shape, or form to the best of my knowledge. The car has been off the road since the early 90’s and the title will state as such so there is no deception about the validity of what you are bidding on. This Mustang is just about as clean cut of a vehicle as you will find, considering that it has been exposed to the elements. Furthermore, I am in no way misrepresenting what this car is as I do not conduct business that way. It is imperative that you understand exactly what you are getting and I advise that you ask any questions you have prior to bidding. I am extremely responsive in my listings and will do my best to provide you with any information I can about the car. And lastly, if you are the winning bidder that means you are in a BINDING CONTRACT. With that being said, I expect the winner to follow through per the rules of Ebay. Now let me tell you about the Mustang. I have included a picture of where the car sat since the early 90’s. I am told it is a 3rd owner car. The odometer reading shows 164001.4 miles. The motor was taken out of the car, and at that time the car was parked exactly where the picture shows. The motor was dismantled and the rebuilding process had begun, but was not completed. The pictures I have included in the listing show loose components which were either in the garage or inside the car. Based on my experience in the auto industry, it is my determination that the extent of the work done on the engine rebuild consists of block cleaning, new cam bearings, cylinder boring, and turning of the crankshaft. The freshly-machined parts have surface rust on them. It will be the responsibility of the winning bidder to determine if re-machining of those parts will be required. The engine also has .30 over pistons installed on the connecting rods (press fit.) The cylinder heads are still unaltered pieces and it is my opinion this motor was being rebuilt strictly because of wear. Any parts which came with the car are shown in the provided photos. Now to the car itself. The car has significant rust from front to back. I have been involved in rebuilding and restoring many vehicles over the last 30 years. It is my intention that bidders will be able to judge the condition of the car by the pictures or by the Youtube videos. Unfortunately, due to weather, the videos will not be available until tomorrow. When I removed the car from where it was sitting there was some water inside the car. I have washed the exterior, vacuumed the interior, and removed the old and aftermarket exhaust parts from the car. The passenger side door will not open and I suspect it is from rusty mechanical parts within the mechanisms. In my opinion, this car was never wrecked. In fact, the body lines look good on the car. The condition of the 2 front tires indicates that the front end was in good shape also. The trunk and hood open fine. Please note there is no lock for the trunk and I have no key for the ignition. I have described all this in order to be transparent, because the car may be beyond some people’s ability or interest to repair. Now, more about the car. Although it needs a complete restoration, it is easy to see that it was a beautiful driver. It is a fairly complete car, still retaining most of the OEM parts. In my opinion, this is an unaltered car. That means the winning bidder will begin restoration on a car that is not that far off from a factory delivered vehicle. This is huge in my opinion. The car is completely fixable. • This is fastback style • All glass is intact • Window molding is in great shape • Rear seat is fold-down To reiterate to the winning bidder: you are in a BINDING CONTRACT. What I require after the auction closes is a down payment of $500.00 via Paypal within 24 hours of the auction ending. This deposit will not be refunded under any circumstances. The remaining balance due must be paid either by certified check, guaranteed funds, or cash. Only bid if you are serious. I welcome any questions you may have. To the best of my knowledge, I have provided you with an accurate representation of this vehicle. I will assist in shipping the car at many levels; please contact me to discuss the options. I require full payment on this Mustang within ten days after closing of this auction. *Shipping cost is the sole responsibility of the winning bidder* The vehicle WILL NOT leave my possession until full payment is satisfied. If you insist on doing the entire transaction through Paypal then you will be responsible for ½ of the fees charged. Your signature will be required on a Bill of Sale, which states that this Mustang is sold “AS IS, WHERE IS, WITH NO WARRANTY.” The sale of the car is final. I welcome any and all questions about the car. Please allow me 24 hours to respond.
