Shines nicely but is faded in places and has been blended/repaired in others, most notably the hood has been repainted at some point - The sides are very straight, there is no rust and I found no evidence of prior collision damage - Carfax says ‘no accidents’ too - Overall, it’s a pretty car that you would be proud to own, but it’s a “five-footer” in that close inspection will reveal many minor blemishes. I photographed all the worst dings and chips, so check out all the pictures. Better yet, come see and drive the car before bidding! INTERIOR: - All original black upholstery is in great shape! - Aftermarket AM/FM/MP3 stereo Dash has some cracks in it (see photos) but isn't as bad as they usually are in these cars - Cloth inserts in front seats could use a good cleaningDD - Everything works and the A/C just needs a recharge (was blowing cold until yesterday). I'm including an R134a retrofit kit ENGINE/MECHANICAL - Runs great! - 2.5L 944 engine; 944 5-speed transaxle (Porsche built it this way, that’s what differentiates the 924 S from the plain 924) - New front brakes - Yokohama tires less than 500 miles old - Upgradeed to 16” Boxster wheels, primarily for aesthetic reasons - Shifter is balky from not being used. I had my mechanic take it apart and grease it. He says the more the car is driven, the smoother it will shift. Transmission is in good working order, as is the clutch. Odometer stopped accruing mileage today.
