Up for sale is a 1979 Mercedes 450SL with less than 95,500 Original Miles. VIN # 10704412057522. This vehicle has a few rare qualities such as a much desired Euro look, additional rear seating and a blue soft top. NOTE that the stitching around the windows on the soft top has separated and will need to be sewn (I have included a photo of where it separated). This vehicle has spent a majority of its life in FL 1979-2000 in Neptune, FL and 2000-2011 in Ponte Verde, FL and presently in Staten Island, NY. Service records from owner who owned the vehicle from 2000-2011 came with the vehicle when I purchased it so I have continued to compile service records. The vehicle has been painted at some point in its life. I must part ways with my collection so this is your opportunity to pick up this beauty and call it your own. Recent repairs:-Replaced Fuel Distributor and cleaned Fuel Injectors-New Spark Plugs-New Behr Radiator-New Clutch Fan-New Thermostat All repairs were done while diagnosing hard start after vehicle warms up. Vehicle starts right up at cold start with no hesitation. AC/Heat doesn't work. Never addressed since vehicle is only driven during topless weather.
