Vehicle Detail

This is my 1998 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 that I am selling. This is my personal vehicle so if you have any questions feel free to email me and ask. This camaro has almost 140k miles on it and I am the third owner. Carfax shows it as a corporate vehicle for the first 80k miles and then the second owner was a pastor of a church and owned it from 80k until 120k. This is when I bought it from him. This vehicle has been in California its entire life. When I received the car it was 100% stock. I chose to add a magnaflow catback exhaust system (I still have the original system and it will be included if the buyer wants it), an aftermarket sound system that has been uninstalled and the stock has been put back in (also have all the aftermarket equipment that can be purchased separately for a huge discount), I did 5% tint on the back and side windows with a 50% tint on the front windshield (I got a ticket for the side windows so the tint will be removed before shipping, but I can have it redone for 50-100 dollars at your cost with a lifetime warranty that is included), I added the slp air lid with a K&N filter and a ram air induction kit that fits between the front radiators, and last but not least when I purchased the vehicle it had an oil leak from the pan gasket. So, I lifted the engine and dropped the k-member in order to replace that PITA and while I was there I also did both motor mounts and the transmission mount (this would have cost around $1000 at any automotive shop). One more thing, I blacked out all the lights. The turn signals and rear tail lights are snap-ons that can be easily removed if wanted with no damage and the front head lights are the whistlered black headlights (I have the stock headlights that will be included as well). Overall I have all the stock parts and this vehicle can be restored to 100% stock fairly easily (the exhaust being the most extensive item to replace because you would have to take it to a shop to have it welded back in for 100-200 dollars I would assume, maybe even less). The inside and outside of the vehicle I would rate an easy 9 out of 10. If you had the vehicle waxed the outside would probably be closer to a 9.5 out of ten and the interior has very minor blemishes that are consistent with this age vehicle. This camaro has a clean title and I have the pink slip in hand ready to transfer. I have removed all the aftermarket sound equipment and put all of the stock equipment back. This includes where the subwoofer box was, I took it out and put the t-top holders back in with the swivel cover. I will be removing the license plates and keeping them for myself. If you are interested in the aftermarket sound equipment just know that I spent around $3000 give or take and it was quality speakers. In other words it didn't just go BOOM, it had very nice sound quality, was very harmonic, and could play any type of music beautifully (My personal favorite was listening to ACDC back in black LOL). The other nice thing about the sound system is that it didn't rattle the car because the ports where faced forward and the car is a hatchback, so with the windows open all of the pressure would escape. (I have pulled up next to people who told me to turn it down because they couldn't hear their own stereo and grandmas hate me LOL). I would be willing to part with the sound system for around $1000 dollars give or take depending on the selling price. If you want to research the speakers I had Hertz ESK 165.5 Component speakers for the front and rear speakers (the new model black ones not the old model orange ones and these sell on ebay for almost 300 so you could imagine what retail was) and I had the Rockford Fosgate T1 15" subwoofer in the enclosure. The custom enclosure cost me over $1000 and was the reason the system performed so well. Also included would be an extra Stinger battery, all the wiring and fuse equipment, an aftermarket cd player, and two amps (one for the subwoofer and one for the door and rear speakers). I also upgraded to an high output alternator that will remain in the car. This car runs and performs beautifully. There is absolutely no mechanical defects that I am aware of. The engine purrs and the transmission shifts firm when it should and how it should. No slipping or grinding. It is an automatic. I have also installed all four brand new tires less than a couple thousand miles ago, so they are practically new. I really can't think of anything else other than to tell you that this is an overall solid, good, and well maintained car. It has been a privilege to own this car from essentially the first owner and the only reason I am selling it is because I recently found a 1989 Ford Bronco from the original owner with only 50k original documented miles (I only paid $4000 for it) . Every part on this bronco is stock from the factory. Even the spark plugs say 1989. If I had more money I would keep both vehicles, but unfortunately at this time I have to pick one and I will be sad to see the camaro go. Please contact me before bidding if you have 0 feedback or I will delete your bid. Upon completion of this listing the winning bidder will be responsible for a $500 non-refundable deposit within 24 hours or the vehicle will be re-listed and that particular bidder blocked (the $500 will count towards the purchase price). Also the total amount will be due withing 3 days of auction ending. I will also be listing the vehicle locally and reserve the right to pull the listing anytime I am offered a reasonable offer. I know the blue book for my vehicle is a little over $4000, but I know that this color and condition camaro is worth closer to $5800 and with the sound system I would value it at least $6600 dollars. I will be listing this vehicle locally for $5800 OBO without the sound system and obviously negotiable with the sound system. Feel free to make an offer via contacting me through ebay if you are a serious buyer and would like to purchase this vehicle without having to deal with the bidding process. I am a fairly simple guy and if you get close to the number I want we can work something out. Last but not least I will be on vacation in Fort Bragg, CA from August 4th-7th. I will do my best to answer all questions before and after those dates and if possible while I am there. My name is Bryan and my phone number is 916-956-6854, but please only call if you are an extremely serious buyer that needs more details. If you are just curious please contact me via ebay's messaging system. Thank you and happy bidding. FYI I just looked at the pictures and the interior one with the center console is a bag hanging out not a flaw on the center console. Also I am the third owner I don't know why it says 4. It was corporate in San Diego for the first 80k, the pastor who I bought it from lived in El Cajon and was the second owner, and I am the third owner. And last but not least the smog issue was a gas cap. Got a new one and passed smog. I don't know why they would put that on there. Anyways...
