Vehicle Detail
This has been a great everyday driving car for my high school daughter. Times up... she's getting ready for the drive to college. Runs great, everything maintained as you would for the one you love! Maintained by McNab Foreign Cars who run the Miami/South Florida VW Club. Odometer not functioning... no idea on mileage... but lots. Everything I know works. Brakes, Engine, Lights, Reverse Lights, Radio... typical engine oil leaks... drop a day... has Marine Sub-Woofer and Amp for Phones.... not am/fm radio... Four Speakers also marine. Have the "hard starting package" installed... We just did the White Walls (paint)... we'll make sure they look new before shipping. The Floors were replaced by prior owners and are rock solid. Has installed Seat Belts. Front seat appear to be wearing.... we have a replacement (not installed) from EMPI... Ask any questions. One thing I can say -- The German's knew how to build a solid, reliable, fun car! Will be a shame to give it up... we're known in the surrounding neighborhoods! It just keeps working... Bunch of inquiries on the paint.. it is a boat paint -- AWLGRIP -- and Sea Foam H-4256. It was painted a few years back and isn't perfect but respectable. The paint is elastic and extremely strong. I think it looks great but know it is not show car finish. It has imperfections expected of a car its age, but it is personality you are buying. Frankly I expected the car to have a few dents from the new driver... it didn't! Oh... it has A/C... a built in fan for someone in the front seat. No heater (removed for South Florida). And.. the windows which I'm not sure are even shown in pictures are acrylic (with scratches) but solid frames. For those that know the car the frames don't seal to the roof -- the roof is an amazing piece of engineering for 40 years...
