1966 Mustang Convertible Bench Seat Car. Show car winner. Insurance appaisal $40,000 Very, Very Rare, LOOK IT UP!. One of the rarest mustangs ever built. Rarest of the early 60's mustangs. 3190 total built. Yes that correct. Only 3190 made. Total. Question is how many are left? Nobody knows but it is very few. I doubt you have ever seen one. Key points: Power steering (Borgeson unit, bolt in and much better than original) Power Breaks 302 roller motor.(new 2009) headers, aluminum int, holly carb, etc. 24-25 mpg estimated. Rear gear is 273 I think. Runs great, starts first rotation. Automatic Overdrive Transmission. New Rebuild 2013 mid year by Cobra transmission winchester Ky. new engine wire harness new aluminum pullies, brackets, serpentine belt. new aluminum radiator. new dual exhaust Boyd coddington rims. Lowered 3" front and 3.5 Rear. level ride, no rub, go anywere but car does sit low so you have to keep you eye open for big speed bumps etc due to headers. Most are not an issue. All new chrome except quarter windows (Everything). ( all) bumpers, emblems, top trim, grill, rocker trim, window trim, handles,small pieces. Almost all new stainless. exception is a pillars and they show great. All new sheetmetal, full quarters, full doors, fenders, hood, trunk tid, rear and front valence,rockers, new rear panel. New floors, frame from front of doors back, all 4 torque boxes, springs front and back, trunk floors etc. almost all new. New is 2009. That when the build started. New paint and body work 2012 December. all work doen by T's Birmingham Alabama. Car is straight ,slick and 3 feet deep. Paint is two stage base clear Candy Apple Red. Very nice Mostly New interior. Seats and carpet are 3-4 years old but show good. dash, dash cluster, handles all new. looks very good Top shows well. new lights and trim. I took as many pictures of the car as I could. I took close ups of details you look for on these mustngs like torque boxes, frames, floors, straight sides, engine department detail, lines etc. others wont do that. I hope you see this car is clean, straight, looks outstanding and details are good. I show this car at local car shows. It wins 70% of the time. Just won another show last week 7/6/14. I show this car in events with other mustangs in the show and win best mustang almost every time. Best awards given: Top 25 Pumpkinrun Nationals (Ford Country), 3000 car event Top 75 Boonsboro Nationals 800-1000 car event. Top 100 Spring Break Car show. 1000 car event see picture of awards this car has won in the past year. many and some best in shows as well. The car shows very well but is not a perfect #1 car, its a solid #2. Good car. Drive it any place or any distance. No issues Over $25,000-$30,000 in just parts. I have most if not all the reciepts. You could not build a car for what you can buy this one. Plus it is a bench seat convertible. That adds 30% to the value. Can't touch a good beanch seat convertible for under $40,000 if they know what they have. In fact I would bet you have never seen one. Thats how rare it is. All old mustang car guy know this. Also the way it was built it can go back to100% original very easy. Nothing was done to hurt this cars value. I am Selling this car local so I can end this list at any time.
