Up for sale is a beautiful Woodie station wagon, a 1948 model Special Deluxe in Burgundy color. It is an an example of an older restoration of a much sought after vehicle. The paint is in good condition, the wood is sound and generally in good condition, but there are few places that could benefit from revarnishining It has a 6 cylinder engine that pulls strongly. The front brakes have recently been replaced, including the cylinders. There is a leak in the rear of the engine at the transmission. My mechanic replaces the fluids periodically. All the gauges work except for the temperature gauge I have a replacement, but it is not installed. It has optional equipment, including a searchlight that works, fog lamps (mopar) and painted white metal rim ringsI have owned this car for about 20 years and have cared for it very well. It has been garaged since I have owned it and has only been driven in good weather.
