Vehicle Detail

1961 Ford Starliner dry project car (sold on bill of sale only) I have owned this car since 2004, and have been collecting parts since before that over $6000 invested. This was my dream car, and if you know how rare these cars you will appreciate it. I am selling this car, because I have had to move for my career. This is a factory 352/3spd t-85 overdrive, a/c car. I started with a rusty starliner, and after getting a lot of quotes on the project, I decided to locate a rust free 2 door sedan to build 1 car out of 2. My car had no floors, trunk, and the quarters were rough. I located a bone dry 61' 2 door hdtp in Wyoming in 2007, and brought it back to Georgia. I paid a local body shop $2500 to transplant the roof from the starliner to the 2 door hdtp body, exactly as Ford put the cars together(cutting the front roof posts, and splitting the spot welds down the tail fins), all support bracing was also changed, including the trunk torsion bars, and yes all the glass lines up. I did this because I wanted to build a good solid car, not a car full of bondo. I have not met anyone yet, who can look at the car and tell the roof was swapped. The Wyoming car had beautiful floor pans and a few very small rust holes in passenger side trunk pan(Note: the trunk pan does not need to be replaced only reinforced in my opinion, I placed the quarter beside the rust to show scale), and straight quarters, the passenger side quarter has some rust over the wheel, but nothing major. There is also a few small rust holes where the rubber window seals were on the front & rear windshields(see the package tray picture). This car is very straight and has little rust. That being said the car is 95% complete, and whoever builds the car will benefit from my years of collecting parts. I have: 95% of the stainless(over $1000 in stainless alone) 61 C1AE 390 4 barrel long block(complete carb to oil pan, water pump to tbird valve covers) 61 T-85 3 speed overdrive, including solenoids and factory cable on dash 62' xl steering column both seat frames 2 sets of bumper cores(including bumper guard bumpers) Rebuilt 9" inch ford rearend drum to drum Power Front disc brakes(removed from 69 galaxie 6 doors to choose from Several sets of rear trim btw taillights(super rare) 3 sets of taillights, 2 sets of headlights 2 sets of leaf springs(1 built set) Set of station wagon front coils good gas tank Rear glass FOMOCO Hood hinges 2 radios 2 sets of stainless steel splash panels 4 new ball joints & tie rod ends 1 set of Ford black steel wheels 15x7 352 block 40 over More parts then I can mention! The only parts, I know the car is missing are: Grille Driver's Fender Radiator Front windshield Bellhousing I have tried to list the car fairly & honestly, its probably worth more then this in parts alone, I just don't have the time or the heart to part it out. I would genuinely like to see it built, I just can't do it right now. Please msg with any questions.
