Vehicle Detail
I bought this corvette with the intention of having it restored for my daughter. My dad got sick (cancer) and can't and I wanted something he restored so I don't want anyone else doing it. I will try to write the most honest description I can from the info the man gave me when I purchased it. We drove it one time and it has been stored in the garage since January. The battery is dead because we haven't started it regularly. Here is a list of the parts purchased - used steering column used hood Reman 350 heads block machine work rebuilt kit new water port weather strip kit new power door lock switches new power window switches new front marker lamp new dash cover new kick panels new interior windshield trim new interior pillar trim new gas door emblem land bumper grills new interior kit including all carpet and door panels new wheel centers new door handle trim new arm rests new rear storage compartment new drive shaft U joints new trans mount new wiper motor fan shroud plugs and wires new tires new console plate new console sides new wiper switch new dash lens new shifter plate new wiper blades new gauge cluster bezel new left headlight actuator new oil sending unit new batteries t top is cracked There was several things not finished, biggest one is the wiring. we got all the exterior lights working but couldn't get the headlights to actuate properly. The new interior switches for locks and switches were not installed due to wiring ends being cut. The motor is a complete rebuild and has 3 miles on it. We only drove it enough to make sure the transmission shifted properly. Everything needs to be final tested. I will send leftover paint and paint code. The car has not been buffed to remove the trash. Feel free to give my number to whomever is going to finish this project and I can help anyway I can. The gentleman who had the car said it was a greenwood edition. I have researched it a bit and that is questionable. I think it could have a cam-am kit installed, so I can't verify either way. As I don't know a lot about cars, I have described to my best knowledge.
