My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 1999 Chevrolet Astro AWD Conversion van with just 133k miles on it. I would rate the exterior of this van to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking van. The finish has a deep shine and looks good from any angle. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few scratches and dings associated with age and mileage. All of the body panels line up nice and straight. The hood and doors all open and close easily. There is a small spot of rust under the paint where the rear gate lifts up. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice set of matching rubber with good tread all around. This van has the desirable three piece rear gate, too. Please take your time and check out each of the 60 photos to see how clean this van is. I would rate the interior of this Astro to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door panels are nice and tight. The carpets are thick and full throughout the interior. The seats are very, very comfortable. The cloth is soft to the touch but you can tell that it is very durable, too. This van has captains chairs in the first and second rows with a bench at the back. The blinds are all intact and work properly. Up front, the power windows and locks work properly. The stereo is original and appears to be in good working condition. The climate control system also appears to be in good working condition. The heater keeps the interior warm on cool evenings. The air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The original owners manual is also included. Mechanically, this van appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 4.3L Vortec engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Pride in ownership shows throughout this van. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. The steering and brakes feel good, too. Her road manners are excellent. The big Vortec V6 makes plenty of power. The belt is a little squeaky sometimes but that's about it. The engine keeps perfect temperature and good oil pressure. The only gauge that doesn't read properly is the fuel gauge, which is common. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly without any issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints. The AWD system is tested and working properly, too. These vans are known to be extremely reliable and very capable in snow and bad weather. Just last week, I sold an AWD Astro with 204k that ran and drove beautifully...just like this one. A few months before that, we had an AWD Astro cargo van that had well over 300k miles that ran like a champ. If you're looking for a nice van that is tough as nails, an Astro is your best choice. Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 1999 Chevrolet Astro AWD Conversion van with just 133k miles on it. I would rate the exterior of this van to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking van. The finish has a deep shine and looks good from any angle. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few scratches and dings associated with age and mileage. All of the body panels line up nice and straight. The hood and doors all open and close easily. There is a small spot of rust under the paint where the rear gate lifts up. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice set of matching rubber with good tread all around. This van has the desirable three piece rear gate, too. Please take your time and check out each of the 60 photos to see how clean this van is.
I would rate the interior of this Astro to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door panels are nice and tight. The carpets are thick and full throughout the interior. The seats are very, very comfortable. The cloth is soft to the touch but you can tell that it is very durable, too. This van has captains chairs in the first and second rows with a bench at the back. The blinds are all intact and work properly. Up front, the power windows and locks work properly. The stereo is original and appears to be in good working condition. The climate control system also appears to be in good working condition. The heater keeps the interior warm on cool evenings. The air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The original owners manual is also included.
Mechanically, this van appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 4.3L Vortec engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Pride in ownership shows throughout this van. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. The steering and brakes feel good, too. Her road manners are excellent. The big Vortec V6 makes plenty of power. The belt is a little squeaky sometimes but that's about it. The engine keeps perfect temperature and good oil pressure. The only gauge that doesn't read properly is the fuel gauge, which is common. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly without any issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints. The AWD system is tested and working properly, too. These vans are known to be extremely reliable and very capable in snow and bad weather. Just last week, I sold an AWD Astro with 204k that ran and drove beautifully...just like this one. A few months before that, we had an AWD Astro cargo van that had well over 300k miles that ran like a champ. If you're looking for a nice van that is tough as nails, an Astro is your best choice. In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. This decision will be made at the sole discretion of the seller and can be made at any time, while the auction is live or after the auction closes. Winning Bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us via eBay Message within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. Please do not leave a voicemail on the office phone.
Full payment is due within 7 day of the auction's end. The prefferred method is to bring cash in person to complete the sale. If you are unable to bring cash in person within seven days or will be having the vehicle shipped, we also accept Certified Checks, USPS Postal Money Orders, and wire transfer.
PayPal is not an accepted payment method. This includes Bill Me Later.
We cannot accept credit cards or personal checks.
Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangments are made.
Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are able to complete most tag, registration, and title work, as well as collect sales tax, for Pennsylvania residents.
For out-of-state buyer we can issue a 30-day temporary tag (aka In-Transit tag). The cost is $39 and the buyer must show a valid driver's license and current proof of insurance.
We offer a unique way of purchasing a vehicle. We sell vehicles to the public with No Reserve auction pricing. Most of the vehicles we sell are trade-ins at new car dealerships or high volume used dealerships in the area. We get a lot of interesting, unique vehicles and many that have minor flaws. We give every vehicle a thorough test drive and a visual inspection and describe what we see and feel to you in our descriptions. We try to provide as thorough and accurate a description as possible as well as including 40-60 photos. Understand however, that we are not professional mechanics and cannot predict the future.
There is additional risk in purchasing a vehicle this way versus buying a vehicle from a retail dealership that has been fully serviced and has a warranty. You will pay considerably less this way, but understand our vehicles are sold AS-IS and do not carry any sort of warranty.
