This is a car that I picked up that was being sold from a dismantler. The company decided that the car was too complete and undamaged to part out. I bought it with the intentions of some day restoring it but I am not really a Jaguar person. I just didn't want to see it parted out. The car is original except for the second (or third) coat of paint. The car needs to be refinished correctly as the previous painter sprayed over the original paint and now some is lifting. There are two small areas that have dings but I have started on removing the right rear ding. The sheet metal there is straight now. I have not started on the cowl area. The car needs a fuel tank. It is rusty. That is the only reason that I have not driven it yet. This is a used vehicle and there are a few areas that need attention. The paint needs to be redone. The front lower window area has a small dent. The right rear area has a small ding that has been tapped out but will need refinishing.Since the photos were taken I have removed the front and rear bumpers, hood and deck lid. These items can be put back on the vehicle for shipping. I have started stripping the rear area as can be seen in the photos. All parts that have been removed have been bagged and tagged. All interior panels and pieces are with the car. The only missing pieces that I know of are the floor mats/carpet for the drivers side. My reserve is low because I would like to see this car go to someone who can either finish it or use the parts to complete their car. I need the shop space otherwise I would keep it myself. One is of the front cowl area that needs a small dent pulled out and the other is of the rear quarter panel where I have removed a small dent. The pint has been stripped in this area also.
