I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a gorgeous 1999 Mercedes CL500. The 1999 model year was the last year for this body style. The pillerless coupe is a classic shape with timeless beauty. There is something special about these cars that is hard to explain. Whether you're driving a 560SEC, a CL500 or a new CL63, there is something about these coupes that just demands respect. The full sized coupes have always been at the very top of the Mercedes-Benz range which makes them very exclusive automobiles that you just don't see on the road every day. I would rate the exterior of this CL500 to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this car is simply gorgeous. It is finished in classic silver over black and sports a set of factory AMG 18" wheels for an aggressive look. As you walk around the exterior of this car, you'll see that is has been well kept. As with any older vehicle, please expect to see a few blemishes commensurate with age and mileage. On this specific coupe, there are two or three small dents on the deck lid as well as two small rub marks on the right corner of the front bumper. The silver finish shines nicely and looks as smooth as glass. The body lines are nice and even all around. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory 18" AMG wheels show well for their age (I actually considered switching them with the ones on my S55 AMG because they are nicer than mine). Tire tread is average all around. Please take your time and check out each of the 80 photos to see how clean this CL500 is. I would rate the interior of this CL500 to also be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this Merc has been well kept. As you swing open the long doors, you are greeted by a graciously appointed interior. The door panels are clean and tight. The wood veneers show well throughout the interior. The carpets show well. The leather seats show almost no wear and are very comfortable. The dash and headliner are clean. The power windows, mirrors, seats, sunroof and central locks all work properly. In fact, I only have two complaints about the interior. First are the set of four buttons (hazards, locks, head rests and trunk) that don't sit perfectly due to a broken clip, most likely. The buttons all function properly...I'm just being picky. The other thing is that the left front window comes up about 1/8" off which is probably an adjustment issue with the regulator or the timing needs reset. Neither are huge issues. Both front seats are heated. The climate control system is fully automatic and works properly. The heater keeps the interior warm on cool evenings. The air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The original cassette player has been upgraded with an aftermarket CD player which powers up and sounds great through the factory BOSE speakers. The trunk is spacious and clean. In the trunk is the original CD changer as well as the original 17" spare tire with jack and tools. Mechanically, this CL500 appears to be in good running and driving condition. The powerful 5.0L V8 engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are excellent. Just a few moments behind the wheel and it is obvious that this car was designed to be driven. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. The steering and brakes feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and excellent oil pressure at all times. There have been no idiot lights on (other than the one visible for a license plate light being out). The engine makes over 300hp and is as smooth as silk. The five speed automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. With just 103k original miles, this top-of-the-line coupe is ready for her next owner. If I didn't have two elementary school children, I would keep this one for myself. I guess my S55 will have to do. I have owned at least one of nearly every Mercedes-Benz produced in my lifetime...and these are among my favorites. You get to enjoy all of the exclusivity of owning a rare big body coupe without the troublesome suspension and transmission issues that come with the 600's. This car turns heads everywhere I drive it. She is absolutely stunning to look at and even better to drive. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a gorgeous 1999 Mercedes CL500. The 1999 model year was the last year for this body style. The pillerless coupe is a classic shape with timeless beauty. There is something special about these cars that is hard to explain. Whether you're driving a 560SEC, a CL500 or a new CL63, there is something about these coupes that just demands respect. The full sized coupes have always been at the very top of the Mercedes-Benz range which makes them very exclusive automobiles that you just don't see on the road every day.
I would rate the exterior of this CL500 to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this car is simply gorgeous. It is finished in classic silver over black and sports a set of factory AMG 18" wheels for an aggressive look. As you walk around the exterior of this car, you'll see that is has been well kept. As with any older vehicle, please expect to see a few blemishes commensurate with age and mileage. On this specific coupe, there are two or three small dents on the deck lid as well as two small rub marks on the right corner of the front bumper. The silver finish shines nicely and looks as smooth as glass. The body lines are nice and even all around. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory 18" AMG wheels show well for their age (I actually considered switching them with the ones on my S55 AMG because they are nicer than mine). Tire tread is average all around. Please take your time and check out each of the 80 photos to see how clean this CL500 is.
I would rate the interior of this CL500 to also be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this Merc has been well kept. As you swing open the long doors, you are greeted by a graciously appointed interior. The door panels are clean and tight. The wood veneers show well throughout the interior. The carpets show well. The leather seats show almost no wear and are very comfortable. The dash and headliner are clean. The power windows, mirrors, seats, sunroof and central locks all work properly. In fact, I only have two complaints about the interior. First are the set of four buttons (hazards, locks, head rests and trunk) that don't sit perfectly due to a broken clip, most likely. The buttons all function properly...I'm just being picky. The other thing is that the left front window comes up about 1/8" off which is probably an adjustment issue with the regulator or the timing needs reset. Neither are huge issues. Both front seats are heated. The climate control system is fully automatic and works properly. The heater keeps the interior warm on cool evenings. The air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The original cassette player has been upgraded with an aftermarket CD player which powers up and sounds great through the factory BOSE speakers. The trunk is spacious and clean. In the trunk is the original CD changer as well as the original 17" spare tire with jack and tools.
Mechanically, this CL500 appears to be in good running and driving condition. The powerful 5.0L V8 engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are excellent. Just a few moments behind the wheel and it is obvious that this car was designed to be driven. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. The steering and brakes feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and excellent oil pressure at all times. There have been no idiot lights on (other than the one visible for a license plate light being out). The engine makes over 300hp and is as smooth as silk. The five speed automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. With just 103k original miles, this top-of-the-line coupe is ready for her next owner. If I didn't have two elementary school children, I would keep this one for myself. I guess my S55 will have to do. I have owned at least one of nearly every Mercedes-Benz produced in my lifetime...and these are among my favorites. You get to enjoy all of the exclusivity of owning a rare big body coupe without the troublesome suspension and transmission issues that come with the 600's. This car turns heads everywhere I drive it. She is absolutely stunning to look at and even better to drive. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.

Full payment is due within 7 day of the auction's end. The prefferred method is to bring cash in person to complete the sale. If you are unable to bring cash in person within seven days or will be having the vehicle shipped, we also accept Certified Checks, USPS Postal Money Orders, and wire transfer.

We cannot accept credit cards or personal checks.
Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangments are made.
Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are able to complete most tag, registration, and title work, as well as collect sales tax, for Pennsylvania residents.
For out-of-state buyer we can issue a 30-day temporary tag (aka In-Transit tag). The cost is $39 and the buyer must show a valid driver's license and current proof of insurance.
